CSM MEETS SUSTAINABILITY is an event held during the four Milan Fashion Weeks, created to provide visibility and promotion to eco-sustainable brands featured in the showrooms of our members. The evening is dedicated to buyers, press, and fashion experts, with the aim of raising awareness throughout the textile and apparel industry about the importance of environmental protection, for a more livable and less polluted future. Eco-sustainable brands are promoted through a short film that, in addition to presenting the collections, spreads messages for a “greener” world. The event is supported by Confartigianato Moda.

Our work, although young, has a rich history to tell. Born in 1951 from the vision of Giambattista Giorgini, who brought the “Made in Italy” to life with the fashion shows in the Sala Bianca of Palazzo Pitti in Florence, it marked a fundamental starting point. It is CSM’s responsibility to explain to younger generations how we have arrived at today, documenting our journey since 1951. During each Milan Fashion Week, CSM will dedicate an exhibition to the icons, historical periods, and figures who brought innovation, creativity, and boldness to our sector. Thanks to the courage of these pioneers, today we can pursue a profession that deeply inspires us.

ARTISANAL EVOLUTION

In the showroom participating in the initiative

An exhibition event created to give visibility to the Italian SMEs of CONFARTIGIANATO, showcasing their collections in CSM showrooms during each Milan Fashion Week. The initiative offers companies growth opportunities through tutoring and visibility, promoting the “Made in Italy” excellence. The goal is to boost sales and access to both national and international markets, with a modular and uniform setup across all participating showrooms. Clothing collections are displayed on identical mannequins, while accessories are presented on cubes. The event is supported by Confartigianato Moda.

ARTISANAL EVOLUTION will take place at the showrooms participating in the initiative.

The “collective showroom” exhibition takes place during each Paris Women’s Fashion Week in the French capital, in the magnificent and prestigious location of 7 Rond-Point des Champs Élysées Marcel-Dassault. Paris, along with Milan, has always been one of the world’s fashion week capitals, and its presence complements that of Milan, benefiting the entire European fashion system. The women’s collections displayed in this “collective showroom” are all of the highest quality.

CONFARTIGIANATO, in collaboration with CSM, organizes group fashion shows for artisan brands producing ready-to-wear samples. This, in addition to the obvious image benefits – being able to show for a brand remains an important communication tool – will also bring significant commercial benefits, thanks to the production of photo and video content. CSM strongly believes in this new project because it offers a new opportunity, new visibility, and above all, new development for these ready-to-wear companies, which deserve support and promotion because they represent the excellence of “Made in Italy” and our country’s know-how. È DI SCENA L'ALTA SARTORIA!

A concept designed to enhance and communicate the excellence of artisan companies specializing in women’s haute couture, an elitist and typically Italian art that deserves to be protected. Unlike prêt-à-porter, haute couture is aimed at a select clientele, offering tailor-made garments. To highlight this often overlooked Italian savoir-faire, a collective fashion show of selected women’s haute couture brands was held in Milan during the January 2025 fashion week. The project aims to offer visibility and support to participating companies, with the production of photographic and video content during the event. The event is supported by Confartigianato Moda.
